An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to join the Finance team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Produce and process monthly payroll, including processing changes for all employees across multiple partners within the Museum Studio group.
  • Process weekly timesheets and update T&A system.
  • Monthly submission of data to HMRC i.e. PAYE & NI contributions.
  • Undertake payroll year end, including production of relevant documentation i.e. P11 & P60.
  • Address payroll queries from employees.
  • Act as main point of contact for pensions, including undertaking monthly submissions and enrolling employees.
  • Support the wider finance team as required.
  • Strong payroll experience, both processing and reporting;
  • CIPP would be advantageous, or willingness to study;
  • Knowledge of pensions and salary sacrifice schemes;
  • Understanding of payroll legislation;
  • Good problem solving skills;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Excellent organisation skills with ability to prioritise effectively;
  • Experience of other areas of finance would be advantageous.
