About the role:

The HR Operations Associate will come with a background and interest in human resources administration and will take pride in working for a mission-based company like Morningstar.

He/she/they will provide a wide range of administrative support functions to the HR team such as the implementation of HR policies and procedures, processes and relevant documents.

Job responsibilities:

The HR Operations Associate will mainly support our UK, South Africa and Dubai operation.

• Manage the administration around the full employee life cycle including onboarding, contract changes, leave entitlements & queries, time and absence, immigration, benefits, reference letters, offboarding, etc.;

• Support payroll by providing input and auditing data changes monthly;

• Perform general HR administrative tasks such as documentation and record-keeping, HR software administration, data management.

• Prepare, record, and perform the necessary quality checks with respect to various administrative tasks: correspondence, approvals, files for signatures, notes and other documents.

• Respond to employee requests or issues via the HR service desk, email, or chat;

• Participate in regular reporting and audit of HR data;

• Actively contribute to a sustainable, safe, positive and enjoyable office environment.

• Anticipate and respond to HR needs as they emerge.

Qualifications:


• Proven experience as an HR associate/specialist, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position in a multinational environment (experience in a shared service center in service for Europe is a plus);

• Excellent English language skills are a must; working language is English (basic knowledge of another European language is a plus);

• Prior experience with Workday HCM or a similar HCM tool is preferred;

• Experience with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel);

• Basic knowledge of European labor law is a plus;

• Outstanding organizational skills and strong capacity for detail-oriented work;

• Ability to perform basic data analysis, legal research, and draft HR documents;

• Pro-active, problem solving and can-do attitude;

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills as well as ability to connect with individuals at all levels of an organization.

• Flexible, adaptable, able to work independently with discretion, and an energetic team player.

• Comfortable working in a professional, dynamic, and fast-paced environment;

• Alignment with Morningstar's mission, vision and values.
