Sales order administrator required for our Colchester-based marketing client to join their friendly team.

This is an ideal position for someone with a few years administration and/or customer service experience looking for their next office-based role whereyou will be provided with further training and development by their friendly team in your role as Sales Order Administrator.

This role of Sales Order Administrator is a very interesting & varied role for the right person where you will be involved in a varietyof tasks making every day different.

Ideally you will have gained your administration and/or customer service experience within a similar position where you have had to process and deal with sales orders.


The role

  • Monitor the progress of all sales orders despatched from the companies European & UK partners
  • Provide daily contact with suppliers, customers, printers and logistics companies in order to track shipments
  • Send order acknowledgements to customers
  • Make sure all orders are printed & dispatched on time
  • Provide professional customer service levels always
  • Ensure customer queries and problems are dealt with promptly as and when they arise via effective liaison with other departments.
  • Monday to Friday 9am 5pm

The Person

  • Previous administration/customer service experience
  • Ideally previously dealt with processing orders in Europe and the UK
  • Keen and motivated
  • Must be proactive with ability to use own initiative
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient PC Skills required including outlook and Excel.
