Clinical Support Worker

The Gynaecology Unit consists of the Gynaecology Outpatient Department and Treatment Centre, the 16 bedded inpatient ward and day case unit and an Acute Gynaecology Assessment and Early Pregnancy Unit.
The unit also supports with Surgical Outliers.If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have a enhanced DBS.
This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 month.
As this vacancy is within the division of Women's and Children's, there is a mandatory requirement for successful applicants to join the DBS update service.
The cost of joining the update service is £13 per year, and applicants are liable to cover this cost with no reimbursement from the Trust.
Further details of how to join the update service will be provided upon appointment.
The post holder will have excellent communication skills and have an ability to deal with potentially difficult and emotive situations relating to pregnancy loss and oncology in a sensitive manner whilst recognising the remit of their role.
