About the role:


Vision for Education are looking for a number of High Level Teaching Assistants to work in a number of our client schools, supporting pupils with a mix of additional needs.


As a High Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our partner schools, supporting students with a range of additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Global Development Delay, PMLD, and challenging behaviour.

Whether you prefer full-time or part-time work, we offer flexible options to accommodate your schedule and other commitments.

With immediate and September start dates available, we have a variety of day-to-day, long-term, and permanent positions to suit your preferences.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role of HLTA you will:

  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold a relevant qualification such as a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or an equivalent certification that demonstrates your knowledge and skills in supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience working as a High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Familiarity with different SEN conditions and a good understanding of strategies to support students with additional needs.
  • Patience and Empathy: Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach when working with students, understanding their unique challenges and providing appropriate support.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to work effectively in different classrooms, supporting students across various age groups and educational settings.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals, building positive relationships and promoting collaboration.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to the inclusive and supportive ethos of the school.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
