JOB TITLE: Junior Office Administrator / Supply Chain Assistant

LOCATION: Glastonbury area

SALARY: £18,000 (Depending on Experience)


We are looking for an Office Administrator to join a dynamic and successful medium-sized business located near Glastonbury. This company is currently going through a period of rapid growth, providing a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Office Administrator include:

  • Daily data input into Stock Control Software and Microsoft Office programs
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding deliveries
  • Monitoring delivery schedules and addressing any arising issues
  • Verifying and processing purchase invoices
  • Generating reports for Company and Senior Management Team meetings
  • Managing and organizing production records
  • Performing traceability, recall, and mass balance tests
  • Ensuring accurate and updated record-keeping
  • Controlling raw materials stock levels and resolving discrepancies
  • Overseeing the maintenance of raw materials storage areas
  • Handling product packaging creation and proofreading
  • Updating product and supplier databases
  • Supporting Supply Chain managers with various tasks
  • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the premises


This role offers a diverse and challenging set of responsibilities that may involve some physical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical and IT skills, as well as excellent communication abilities.
