Reporting Lead - Construction Infrastructure

We are currently seeking a Reporting Lead to join a well-established construction consultancy firm in London and work on a major infrastructure project. As the Reporting Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development, continuous improvement, and management of the projects' reporting framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of the programme reporting lifecycle process, ensuring high-quality and easily understandable reports
  • Leadership and development of the Reporting Team
  • Continuous improvement of reporting framework and process
  • Awareness building of reporting requirements within project teams
  • Management, update, and communication of reporting cycle
  • Provision and management of key reporting portfolio
  • Production of Quarterly Business Review report
  • Production of six-monthly Notable Schemes Deep Dive report
  • Implementation of reporting maturity and roadmap for data-led reporting
  • Continuous update of knowledge on latest reporting tools and technologies

Success Criteria:

  • Deliver clear, concise, and high-quality reports to stakeholders
  • Satisfy major stakeholders and funders with all documents and communications
  • Development of reporting framework within agreed time, cost, and quality
  • Demonstrable enhancement in the quality of programme reporting
  • Timely production of all reports, papers, minutes, and action logs
  • Effective governance and administration service provision

Required Competencies:

  • Ability to write coherently and convey information concisely
  • Strong analytical skills for large volumes of data
  • Experience in managing programme reporting framework for complex programmes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and effective presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and PowerBI
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of punctuality
  • Knowledge of programme management methodologies and performance measurement
  • Understanding of the railway industry and governance practices
  • Experience in team leadership and management
