Job summary

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an effective and efficient administrative and secretarial service to their aligned Senior Managers within Adult Community Services. They will play a key role in supporting and actively promoting the Division in its aim to modernize the administrative service. The post holder will be actively involved in implementing the Administrative Service Improvement Programme and will lead on specific work-streams.

Job responsibilities

To access and integrate electronic databases and reports to produce service level information as required by appropriate Senior and Service. To maintain an efficient and effective filing system ensuring business sensitive information is appropriately stored on the electronic drive in accordance with local file saving protocols and paper records ( staff files) stored in line with Data Protection and Confidentiality. To operate an effective bring-forward system to ensure that deadlines are met, issues are followed up on time and are not To assist in the production of reports and presentations delivered by the appropriate Senior and Service Managers To ensure that all necessary papers (in electronic form where possible) are available for meetings and other appointments. Qualifications

Essential

Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English A-C OCR 3 Award/Certificate in Text Processing/ Word Processing or equivalent qualification/ experience OCR IT in Outlook, Excel or equivalent qualification/ experience
