We are looking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication skills to join our multisite Clinical Coding team.


You should be able to be able to organise your own workload but work as part of the team to deliver timely and accurate coded data to meet trust deadlines.


The team is responsible for coding a wide range of specialties with varying complexity, which keeps the job interesting and we are focused on supporting our staff to achieve their full potential during their coding career.

Band 3 coders that have completed the NHS Standards Course will be considered.

Main duties, tasks & skills required:

Be responsible for coding diagnostic and operation data contained on source document/Portal using coding conventions/ validation as stated in the National Classification ICD10 and OPCS 4.
