About the role
As a Network Technician, you'll face a range of unique engineering challenges that keep each day interesting. You'll work across different capabilities and skill sets to enhance customer service in technical engineering areas.

On a daily basis, you'll be involved in delivering customized electronic engineering systems and:

System commissioning (electrical, electronic, data, fibre, radio frequency) Offering technical guidance and advice to customers Ensuring compliance with regulations (CE / CA marking for systems and postproduction) Being a technical author and documenting requirements, including universal reliability definition (URD) Supporting product development and future capability enhancements

This full-time role requires working thirty-seven hours per week at our Ashchurch site.

Essential experience of the Network Technician

Linux administration and Virtualisation Management (VMWare) Networking – working towards CCNA certification Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) fundamentals Strong technical reporting skills, both written and verbal Background in electronics engineering with the ability to perform reverse engineering tasks Experience with CE / CA Marking of productised platforms

Qualifications for the Network Technician

HNC or HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering Knowledge of Data and fibre communications principles City and Guilds - Communications Cabling and Networks

The ideal candidate must be a UK national eligible to obtain and uphold Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
