Job description

  • Personal assistant x 4 Cramlington
  • Hourly Rate: £13.66 per hour
  • Main Role:
  • To support a physically disabled Biology graduate to live as independently as possible, beginning in the family home with a view to moving into her own home in the future. You will work as part of a 24hr care team with 12hr shifts including waking overnights.
  • Must have:
  • The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
  • A full clean driving license is required and a adapted vehicle/van is required for all transport needs including hospital appointments and social outings.
  • You must be reliable, trustworthy & professional attitude & be able to follow instructions & protocols.
  • Contracted hours will be as follows: Various 12hr Shifts patterns on offer 8am to 8pm, 8pm to 8am, fulltime posts to include 36 and 24 hours per week must be flexible and willing to cover holidays and sickness where needed within the team to ensure care needs are met at all times.
  • Contract of employment is permanent and holiday pay is 5.6 weeks prorata.
