Part-time Executive Assistant

Nigel Wright are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic brand and manufacturer in Northumberland in their search for an Executive Assistant to support their CEO.

This is a rare opportunity to support a successful CEO across both personal and professional commitments, based from the businesses Northumberland office.

The role is to be worked on a part-time basis across a maximum of 25 hours per week with flexibility on how this is managed including hybrid working.


Key Responsibilities

As an Executive Assistant to the CEO, your duties will include diary management for their work as CEO in addition to managing charity and social commitments, arranging travel, accommodation and corporate entertainment and providing general administrative support.


Key tasks:

  • Organise travel, accommodation and corporate entertainment.
  • General business administration support.
  • Supporting the CEO in daytoday duties.
  • Manage multiple requests and priorities including resolving diary issues, travel/logístical arrangements, staying calm under pressure, exercising judgment, and seeing beyond the daytoday to anticipate changing needs.
  • Assist with special assignments/projects as needed.
  • Preparation and attendance at Board meetings, including preparing agendas and taking/distributing minutes.
  • Prepare correspondence, agendas, reports and other documentation as required.
  • Support wider business with Administrative responsibilities as required

Person Specification:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organisation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong IT skills including proficiency in Office 36
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Proactive approach to problemsolving.
