General Duties;

  • Provide administrative support for the staff within the Academy
  • Complete typing and setting up documents such as letters and reports
  • Produce mail shots for parents/carers, as directed
  • Complete general clerical tasks such as photocopying, filing, opening and distribution of mail
  • Keep computer records up to date
  • Provide reception cover when required
  • Answer telephones and pass on messages as required
  • Order of consumables and stock control
  • Attend training including the Academy's Training Days
  • Attend team meetings
  • Participate in the Academy's Performance Management process
  • Be proficient in the Microsoft Office package to include MS, Outlook and Excel
  • Answering telephone enquiries and taking messages, making sure these are passed on to the relevant person
  • Creating, editing and updating spreadsheets
  • Arranging for meetings by reserving rooms and securing refreshments
  • Maintaining office equipment i.e. printer for smooth office functionality
  • Receiving clients when they arrive and showing them the respective offices
  • Conducting research and compiling data upon request
  • Managing office supplies, including refreshments
