Job Title: Plumbing Instructor

Leicester College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Instructor to join our team. As a Plumbing Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a range of full-time and part-time programmes to students studying from Level 1 to Level 3, including Construction T-Level core and specialist content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach across a range of programmes to students studying from Level 1 to Level 3, including Construction T-Level core and specialist content.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to meet the needs of students.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and assessments.
  • Contribute to the development of the college's curriculum and assessment strategies.
Requirements:
  • A relevant BSE Plumbing, Heating or Gas Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Significant industrial experience in the BSE field.
  • Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience of working in a training environment or with young people is desirable.
  • Ability to demonstrate appropriate IT skills, including working remotely to provide distance learning and support to cohorts of students.
