McCarthy Stone are recruiting for a Head of Care and Lifestyle Product to lead the commercial development of McCarthy Stone's care, domestic and lifestyle services.


Reporting into the Commercial, Strategy and Planning Director, you will develop the strategy, business case and delivery plan for new propositions, care models, pricing structures, bundles and resourcing models.

You will also own the evolution of the current product including partnering with operational teams to grow market penetration.

Salary:
Up to £80,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a company car or car allowance.

This is a permanent, hybrid opportunity with occasional travel as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the definition and development of the care and lifestyle product at McCarthy Stone Management Services.
  • Define and deliver the strategy for care and lifestyle product. Deliver changes to operating model, resourcing model, systems, processes and enabling technology required to unlock care, domestic and lifestyle product growth.
  • Lead the commercial growth of McCarthy Stone's care and lifestyle product. Including growing penetration of care and lifestyle product in existing Retirement Living Plus developments and developing the business case and strategic options to grow the footprint of these services further, including launching within Retirement Living developments.
  • Develop new approaches to grow domestic and lifestyle product uptake, including bundling and linking to other products and services.
  • Work with Operations teams to identify opportunities for future growth; support launch of new products and services to influence maximum uptake.
  • Own the pricing structure for care and lifestyle products.
  • Identify and build strategic partnerships, alliances and relationships with relevant industry partners to deliver the strategy.
  • Champion care and lifestyle products as a core element of McCarthy Stone lifestyle.

Relationships:

  • Work with all key business stakeholders and functions these include Services SLT, Services Operations (incl. development based colleagues), Operational Excellence, Legal and Finance.
  • Work with key external partners as required.

Other general responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve standards and consistency by keeping up to date and operating within the latest defined standard specifications, using the approved documentation, process, systems, and source information to ensure consistent and effective performance
  • Always fully comply with McCarthy Stone's policies and procedures
  • Actively engage and collaboratively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertake such other reasonable duties, commensurate with the job holder's experience and qualifications as may be required for the smooth running of the business

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Extensive experience of senior commercial, product or service development roles within an adult social care or healthcare setting.
  • Strategy and business case development including practical experience of deploying new operating models or product offerings in the industry.
  • Product or service ownership experience and direct P&L accountability.

Skills & Competencies:
