An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full time Clinic Assistant to support within our Breast Imaging Unit.

We are looking for a practical person, who exudes warmth and kindness to support our patients in clinic and to help with the organisation of our department.


The post holder would be responsible for a range of different roles to support the smooth running of the department.

Duties involve receiving and preparing the patients for procedures, chaperoning clinical staff and supporting the patient through different procedures.

Ensuring that the biopsy specimens have been checked and taken to their collection point as well as responsibilities for ordering supplies and undertaking stock checks.

The role involves ensuring that the environment is clean and tidy, maintaining concordance with the Trust infection control standards. Data entry under the guidance of clinical staff is also a key part of the role.
