We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Mental Health Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the governance, leadership, and delivery of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) model within identified schools and colleges.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of whole school and college approaches to mental health, ensuring a robust and continually improving approach to promote the development, welfare, and wellbeing of children and young people and their families.
- Oversee the supervision requirements and delivery to team members, ensuring adherence to the MHST model.
- Deliver services that are responsive to local and national directives and need, promoting a learning culture that leads to improved service delivery and robust clinical governance.
- Provide high-quality specialist clinical psychological interventions and services to service users, including specialist psychological formulation, assessment, and therapy.
- Support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other clinicians, working autonomously within professional guidelines and exercising full clinical responsibility.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues and operational and transformational leads to contribute to service development and achieve service goals.
- Provide clinical supervision to other psychological services staff, including qualified psychologists, trainee and assistant psychologists, CBT Therapists, Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs), or other psychological services staff.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology and experience in working with children and young people. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
