Due to recent contract wins, there is an opportunity for an HGV Technician to join the team at the DAF Trucks Depot in Rugby.

Who we are seeking as an HGV Technician:
  • Experienced in HGV Technician / Mechanic roles within related sectors
  • Preferably holds a Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification
  • Alternatively, a seasoned HGV Technician
  • Capable of handling breakdown situations
  • Proficient in completing paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Basic computer skills are advantageous
  • Hold a valid UK driving license
Responsibilities of the HGV Technician role include:
Servicing and repairing a diverse range of Trucks and Vehicles. Diagnosing faults. Preparing vehicles for MOT tests. Conducting mechanical and electrical repairs. Adhering to manufacturer's guidelines and safety protocols. Road-testing vehicles as needed. Participating in available technical training sessions.

Working hours:
Week 1: Mon – Fri 6am to 2:30pm.

Week 2:
Mon – Fri 1:30pm to 10pm.
