Job Summary:

Ford & Slater Limited, a leading family-run business and one of the UK's largest DAF Truck dealers, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team at their DAF Trucks Depot in Rugby.

About the Role:

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide variety of trucks and vehicles, including MOT preparation, mechanical and electrical repairs, and attending technical or development training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining trucks and vehicles to a high standard
  • Performing MOT preparation and repairs
  • Attending technical or development training to stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Working collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as an HGV Technician or Mechanic
  • Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served HGV Technician
  • General level of computer literacy
  • Full UK driving licence
