GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Ocean Winds UK has an exciting opportunity for an Finance and Insurance Associate, to be responsible for coordinating lender responses and requests on the Moray West project. In addition, the Finance and Insurance Associate will be responsible for coordinating with insurance brokers for the Moray West project and managing the wider insurance portfolio for OW in the UK.

The Finance and Insurance Associate will be responsible for the management of the loan structure and project credit support requirements of OW entities in the UK.

This role will be report to the UK corporate finance manager and work closely with the wider corporate finance team.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Co-ordinate lender responses and request for Moray West
  • Co-ordinate reporting, notifications and claim on Moray West
  • Co-ordinate wider OW UK insurances for all OW UK companies,
  • Co-ordinate loan structure of the OW UK entities by tracking, amending and replace shareholder loans.
  • Co-ordinate project credit support requirements from all OW UK entities providing request to project sponsors and liaising with project commercials teams.
  • Co-ordinate guarantee fee agreements and review and track guarantee fee payments.
  • Support shareholders to place and manage equity bridge loans.
  • Support the project treasury teams in administering and tracking loans for UK projects.
  • Support the wider UK corporate finance team in their duties.

REQUIRED ACADEMIC SKILLS

University Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in placing and administering loans.
  • Experience in administering insurance policies.
  • Demonstrable Business, economic and financial knowledge/experience.

RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

This role has no direct reports.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Advanced Excel based modelling skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of energy or other infrastructure projects.

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent logical structuring and written communication skills.
  • Results Oriented
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills.

LANGUAGES: The project has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written. Other languages will be highly valued.
