Essential Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Relevant Degree
  • Up to date safeguarding training

Desirable Qualifications

  • NPQML / Masters degree or equivalent
  • Evidence of appropriate professional development for the role of Subject Leader / Middle Leader

Essential Experience

  • To have taken an active involvement in departmental improvement planning
  • To have implemented and developed a successful leadership initiative
  • Experience of working effectively within a staff team

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of and ability to contribute to staff development (e.g. coaching, mentoring, INSET)
