We are looking to recruit an Accommodation Officer to manage the Trust block of accommodation (Oak House) and liaise with Your Housing Group on the day to day issues relating to Oak House, including nominations to the other four accommodation blocks managed by Your Housing, and oversee the cleaning standards are maintained in all five blocks.


You will be responsible for the allocation of short-term accommodation in Oak House to medical staff, on-call staff and international nurses and where appropriate nominate residents to Your Housing.


You willcomplete all necessary documentation and issue service occupancy forms to residents of Oak House and ensure the appropriate documentation is completed for finance/payroll to deduct monies for the period of residency.


You will carry out inventories on each flat within Oak House both before and at the conclusion of the occupancy, ensuring that in the event of losses or damage to the property, the cost of repair or replacement is deducted from the deposit paid by the occupant at the start of his/her residency.


You will be responsible for ensuring any maintenance issues and any signs of pest infestations are reported immediately to Your Housing, monitoring the progress and informing the Facilities Manager/Assistant Facilities Manager of any problems.

Also, to ensure that acceptable standards of cleanliness as laid down in the 'National Standards of Cleanliness' are maintained.


The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.


The Trust provides services in all of the surgical and medical specialties common to a District General Hospital with some specialist services.

The Trust serves the whole of the local population currently in excess of 250,000 residents which geographically covers populations in England and North Wales.
