The Role:
nAs a
Digital Copywriter , you will be responsible for producing B2C user interface copy for the highly regulated consumer in financial services.
Key responsibilities:
nAnalyse complex product information to develop communications for the everyday consumer.nProofread existing copy, paying particular attention to consistency and brand tone of voice.nDevelop outstanding and high-quality content to support superior and personalised customer solutions, enhance user engagement and retention, as well as improve the promotion of digital solutions in the most efficient way.nTake ownership, manage, and deliver to deadlines of specific content, often across multiple projects / assignments.nAmend, revise or re-develop copy or content in response to the feedback from the clients, stakeholders, and team.nSub-edit content written by colleagues and stakeholders.
Apply the right tone of voice, house style, content strategy, and customer experience principles and best practice.nAccept and provide constructive feedback while understanding the constraints of the business making sure the content meets the high brand standards.
Your Profile:
nKey skills/knowledge/experience:nUX writing experience is key - knowing how to create concise, clear, useful, effective, and consistent copy –working from background information presented.nGood command of the English language, grammar, and colloquialisms.nExcellent skills in writing copy for digital experiences offered to customers in the UK.nExperience with copy standards and tone of voice.nGood copywriting skills and experience of working closely with a UX team and experience of writing functional copy.nAnalytical capabilities and understanding of the requirements process, ideally with experience referencing user stories.nExceptional communication skills and confidence in explaining their work.nFinancial services sector experience especially insurance –or at least exposure to digital product content design within a highly regulated industry.nAwareness of agile methodology.nAdaptability and ability to deliver in a dynamic environment where things do not always go to plan.nExposure to content strategy and understanding of where copy fits into the software design process.nUniversity degree in the English Language/Creative writing/Journalism or in other related fields.
