We are seeking an Inside Sales Executive to join the sales team at a leading company in the Embedded Safety and Security software market. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a background in technical or software product sales, who is ready to take on a varied role that includes responding to customer enquiries, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities. The position is based in their Bristol office and requires some travel for tradeshows, conferences, and sales visits. This is a key role to work as the number 2 to the Sales Leader. You will be acting as a account management to clients who are mainly within the automotive and aerospace industry.

This is not a typical sales role where you will be pushing through a sale, they want people who can nurture relationships and are motivated by providing a good service. You will be recommending new products to a existing client base so it is paramount that a typical sales approach is not taken.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Respond to international customer enquiries in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Develop product and service knowledge to guide customers through the sales process while providing excellent customer service.
  • Build a pipeline of new prospects using our CRM to effectively close sales.
  • Prepare quotations and license agreements.
  • Manage key accounts and develop new business.
  • Meet KPIs and sales targets.
  • Support the sales team and provide cover when colleagues are absent.
  • Work to improve the sales process and engage in nurturing strategies to build brand loyalty and repeat sales.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, with a minimum of a 2:1.
  • Previous sales experience, ideally with experience selling technical/software products.
  • Experience working in a high-tech, engineering company.
  • Awareness of the implications of working in an international company.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
  • Logical and organised approach to tasks with high accuracy.
