for a Team Leader to join the Care Operations Team to support carers across Surrey.
We're looking for someone who has experience working in Care, completed their Care Certificate and a strong ability to develop good working relationships.
What will I be responsible for?
- Support the Care Team Managers with all aspects of service delivery and administration tasks relating to the role.
- There are two specific elements to the Team Leader role, a direct support role to our clients and carers who use our services and a management function. The expectation will be that the Team Leaders role will spend 50% of their time in each element.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, supervising, and auditing for Care Support Workers' practice.
- Working in a proactive way to ensure that a high quality of care and/or support is available to all carers and clients.

Our client is a leading charity that provides respite care for carers, with a vision to ensure all unpaid carers are recognised and supported for the role they have within society caring for loved ones.
With 2 in every 3 people now expected to care for a family member during a lifetime, it is important there are support services available to help people who care to have time away from caring in order to maintain their own health and emotional well-being in order to keep caring.
- Receive and process all incoming product into the warehouse
- Receive and input all outgoing product from the warehouse into the inventory
- Verify product by comparing it to the inventory and packaging it appropriately for shipping
- Maintain inventory by monitoring product and updating counts daily
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times
- Assist in maintaining safety and quality standards within the warehouse
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that orders are fulfilled to company standards
- Communicate with managers on a daily basis regarding problems or concerns
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. on an as needed basis
- Must be able to operate a forklift, pallet jack, forklift, etc.
- Must be able to work under pressure under a fastpaced environment, which may require close supervision of a lead or supervisor.

To be considered for this role, you will require the following skills and competencies:
- Care Certificate.
- Experience of providing care to people with wide ranging care and support needs.
- Experience of writing risk assessments and care plans.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with team members, carers and people with care and support needs, while maintaining appropriate personal boundaries.
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and national, regional, and local guidance.
- Ability to demonstrate dignity and respect for adults and children with care and support needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word/Excel) and the ability to learn to use other digital platforms and software.
- Understand the importance of confidentiality.
- Understand the needs of carers.
Desirable experience:
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and social care.
- Experience in delivering wellstructured team meetings.
- Experience of managing a small team of Care Support Workers.
- Experience of holding supervisions and appraisals.
- Basic knowledge of HR processes.
