This position will dual report into the Head of People Solutions for Europe and Emerging Markets and to the Total Rewards Global Process Owner (GPO). The role will focus on implementing & executing on the global Total Rewards strategy, with regional / local application for Europe & Emerging markets within Viatris and delivering programs to support the Business Leaders and HR Business Partners. Oversight of: 1) all compensation, benefits and wellness programs as well as related policies 2) Viatris short-term incentive programs, 3) Viatris equity and long-term incentive plan, and 4) expatriate, domestic and international mobility programs. The incumbent directly manages their respective Total Rewards teams within each region.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Leadership

  • In partnership with the Total Rewards Global Process Owner, Rewards CoE and the Head of People Solutions for Europe and Emerging Markets, execute a Rewards approach for Europe & Emerging Markets in alignment with the overall Global Total Rewards CoE and business strategy.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Regional Rewards teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into the regional service approach

Rewards Operations:

  • Responsible for the implementation & execution of the Viatris Global Total Rewards philosophy, strategy, management, communications and administration to meet current and future business needs.
  • Specific to the regions, implement and manage the Viatris Total Rewards programs, procedures & processes to meet the organization's objectives for internal equity and external market competitiveness. These programs include but are not limited to: job evaluation; benchmarking; salary administration; short-term, long-term and sales incentives plans, annual cycles; employee benefits (e.g. health insurance, vehicles, perquisites, retirement); mobility and relocation.
  • Analyze and evaluate internal data about the organization's current employee population and future HR needs along with external market data to support regional Total Rewards budgets and forecasts planning.
  • Implement and leverage data-driven metrics to measure Total Rewards effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in Local / Regional / Global Total Rewards projects as needed.
  • Aligning to one HR and assessing opportunities to transform current support model – considering automation, global standardizing processes and allocation of tasks across roles.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Business Leaders, Department Heads, and Local / Regional / Global HR partners.
  • Liaise and collaborate with Local / Regional / Global HR and Business Leaders to develop and implement local Rewards strategies, policies and programs that meet their business needs and adhere to the Viatris Total Rewards philosophy.
  • Partner with Global Process Owner to deliver rewards education to Local &Regional HR teams and management on Rewards related topics.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Local and Regional Leadership teams on Rewards matters.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Rewards / C&B leader in a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of Regional labor markets, employment laws, and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with Senior Leaders to drive organizational success.
  • Experience with Workday and Rewards pricing and benchmarking software
  • Fluency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing in English
