The main responsibilities will be to support the strategic people first agenda ensuring the

  • Proactively manage the full scope of People Policies and procedures, responsible for the accuracy of the contents of the People policy library, including fit for purpose
  • The interpret, implement and ensure compliance with HR policies in line with employment law
  • Support the People team in managing HR policy reviews, in light of changing legislation/direction and ensuring consultation with relevant stakeholders and with the support of nominated people colleagues.
  • Ensures the People Team and relevant parties are updated and educated with regards to changes to key policies and procedures
  • Identify and deliver suitable training of new and amended People policies, ensuring policies are adhered to whilst driving continuous improvement in daytoday practices and processes
  • Active role in supporting the People Case Advisors in managing employee relations queries including maternity, paternity, welfare meetings, probations, investigations, disciplinary, flexible working, problem solving, performance management etc, drafting letters and notetaking.

What you'll need:

  • Proven track record as an experienced HR Advisor or HR Generalist within a fastpaced environment
  • ER / Employment Law knowledge and experience.
  • Selfmotivated with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise cases and workload.
  • Organised and able to manage own time effectively.
  • Able to respond quickly and positively to change.
  • Able to listen to requirements and offer solutions.
  • Confident comfortable at multi business level
  • Dynamic able to make a difference and add value.
  • Selfdriven and highly motivated
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong IT skills, skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel packages and experienced in working with HR packages/databases.
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal skills and able to deal with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy
  • Decade to Deliver.
