About the role

This is an entry level role, ideal for someone looking to develop a career in IT Sales. As a Sales Executive you will work within the Mimecast vendor team, to support the development of the vendor relationship with Mimecast. You will liaise with our partners to promote and increase sales of the Mimecast offering, and provide sales and administration support to an aligned Business Development Manager.

As the Sales Executive, you will:

  • Hold strong internal and external relationships to enable smooth transactions for customers and vendor
  • Achieve all financial and performance related KPI's
  • Provide efficient quotes ensuring that they are right first time
  • Be able to communicate via telephone and email to provide value to the vendor and partner
  • Ensure any issues are dealt with quickly and efficient
  • Upsell and develop a good knowledge of the vendor and their products
  • Ensure opportunities are maximised and take a pro-active sales approach
  • Report on progress, concerns, and successes
  • Keep the customer up to date with progress on quotes and orders
  • Drive attendance to Exclusive Networks and partner events/webinars
  • Ensure our NetSuite and other documents are up to date

  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Have the ability to develop strong relationships with excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Have strong business acumen and be keen to develop a career within IT Sales
  • Be confident with a proactive personality
  • Be target and deadline driven
  • Have the ability to learn new software and products quickly
  • Enjoy thinking on your feet and taking initiative
  • Be a team player and work well under pressure
