The Ticket Factory and Birmingham's premier live entertainment venues, Utilita Arena Birmingham and Resorts World Arena, are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Event Marketing Assistant with a passion for live events to join the Ticketing and Arenas Marketing team.


As part of an interim structure for maternity cover, this fixed term contract role will cover the breadth of event marketing, supporting the Event Marketing Manager's with campaign delivery, scheduling and marketing administration.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the delivery of event marketing campaigns including placement and scheduling of campaigns across the full marketing mix, including online and above the line.
  • Support in the delivery of marketing communications with a keen eye for detail.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks for marketing campaigns including artwork delivery, processing of payment and reporting.
  • Research upcoming artist and events to identify marketing opportunities to help drive ticket sales.
  • Manage the arenas screen content schedule ensuring content is targeted based on audience profile to drive awareness and conversion.
  • Support with event specific pages on The Ticket Factory, Resorts World Arena and Utilita Arena Birmingham websites together with various white label websites. This includes writing copy, updating/maintaining/editing pages to ensure content is up to date and in line with the event organiser / promoter requirements.
  • Support the monitoring of and reporting of marketing activity to highlight what's working and areas of improvement.
  • Provide assistance to all members of the Ticketing and Arenas Marketing team on all aspects of marketing, to include testing, checking links, proofing and providing support for when events go on sale.
  • A desire to gain experience in the full marketing mix and B2C campaign delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills to produce reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent allround IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • A highlevel of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communications skills both verbally and written.
  • Ability to coordinate activities in a timely manner, working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with a sound business/commercial understanding.
  • Selfstarter; flexible; responsive; determined and a completer/finisher.
  • Ability to participate fully in the wider team and also to work autonomously.
