Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our dynamic finance team on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is a Hybrid role and we require 3 days in the office per week.

  • Processing supplier invoices and dealing with general queries, ensuring they are cleared appropriately and within the agreed timescales
  • Dealing with payment queries and ensure they are resolved accurately and within the agreed timescales
  • Ensuring receipt of VAT invoices and that they are followed up and reconciled
  • Ensuring open and cooperative communication is maintained between internal departments to ensure the prompt resolution of queries
  • Completing the weekly payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Reviewing open Purchase Orders to ensure they remain valid
  • Supporting with the provision of ad-hoc information requests both internal and external
Qualifications
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft applications (excel, outlook etc)
  • Experience using SAP or IFS (advantageous but not essential)
  • Multi-tasker who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining 100% accuracy and attention to detail.
