Job description
Medsolve are recruiting for Health Care Assistants to join our team immediately.

We need strong, dedicated individuals with a passion to provide the best medical care to our service users and residents in our Stanley based Care homes.

Weekly pay of £538.08 based on 4 week day 12 hour shifts. An increase for weekends and bank holidays.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 6 months experience as a care assistant
  • Experience in moving and handling
  • Enhanced DBS Updated (if not, we can provide this for you)
  • Dedication to provide a duty of care
  • Driving license (preferred but not essential)

THE ROLE OF A CARE ASSISTANT:

  • This is an extremely rewarding opportunity to work in a care home within a well-established team to support service users with a wide range of requirements. Such as, learning disabilities, dementia, challenging behaviour & mental health.
  • Providing personal care and assisting them with their daily routine, such as bathing, dressing.
  • On occasions may be asked to support on a 121 basis, however this will be rotated normally every few hours. Assisting with meals and feeding duties essential, no medication administration required. Lots of teamwork & support provided
  • Working as part of a team to ensuring the highest standards of care are provided 24/
  • Assisting residents while utilizing moving and handling equipment.
