They will provide systemic advice, guidance, joint work, consultation and
training within the multi-disciplinary team under supervision from a qualified Family and Systemic Psychotherapist and registered supervisor.

They will be a specialist resource and contribute the teams systemic knowledge and skills via case reviews, joint work and clinical meetings.

This role is 12 months fixed term to cover maternity leave.


This role is to caseload hold in the Wirral area, however, the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team cover the entire CWP footprint and there may be occasions when cover across other areas in the footprint is required, therefore, ability and willingness to travel across the footprint is essential.


Provide specialist systemic assessment, formulation and intervention within a multi-disciplinary team to women experiencing mental health difficulties whilst pregnant and up to 2 years postdelivery, and the network around them.

Provide systemic advice, guidance, joint work, consultation and
training within the multi-disciplinary team under supervision from a qualified Family and Systemic Psychotherapist and registered supervisor.


Be a specialist resource and contribute the teams systemic knowledge and skills via case reviews, joint work and clinical meetings.


CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
