As a Flood Risk/Drainage Design Engineer you will work with a range of clients ranging from housing developments to national scale projects.
Prepare Flood Risk Assessments# Preparation of foul and surface water drainage strategies
# This could involve your development and/or checking of Drainage Strategies, Flood Risk Assessments, the production or checking of design calculations, scheme details, and drawings.
The role will be suited to an existing Flood Risk/Drainage Design Engineer who is looking to get support and development in their career.
Ideally you will have a degree in Civil Engineering or related science and interested in progressing towards Chartership. Well versed in the preparation of drawings for Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3. Have experience in Drainage Strategies and SuDs. Be experienced in Surface Water Drainage Strategies. Have an excellent understanding and working understanding of Flow and Microdrainage software packages. Good working knowledge of AutoCAD OR Civils 3D. Your passion and experience of delivering quality infrastructure design solutions is most crucial to your success in this role.As well as a competitive salary pro rata, you will benefit from:
