This is a night position, including 3, 12 hour waking night shifts.

S43, Clowne - It will involve travelling to Sheffield Children's hospital until the service user is discharged home to Clowne.

About the role:

  • As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional specialised care to a vibrant young man with autism, learning difficulties and epilepsy.
  • This individual lives with his family and requires roundtheclock care, including personal care, he has a tracheostomy so will require tracheostomy care, moving and handling and support and assistance with learning difficulties.

At present, he is in the Sheffield Children's hospital, so this role will require you to travel to the hospital until he is later discharged home to Clowne.
You will be a part of this process and will make a big difference in getting him home.
Our dedicated team comprises two skilled carers who are always on-site to provide support and care.

We are seeking highly motivated professionals who possess a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience, with knowledge of complex care being an added advantage.

A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential attributes for this role, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our client's quality of life.
