Role Description: We are excited to offer a new role as a Food Safety and Quality Officer at our company. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and enforcement of BRCGS food safety procedures and general Health and Safety policies. You will collaborate closely with our BRCGS and Health & Safety consultants to ensure compliance.
Food Safety & Quality Supervisor Duties:
- Ensure food safety compliance and drive a positive Food Safety culture.
- Develop and implement BRCGS policies aiming for accreditation by December 2024.
- Lead the HACCP program and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Manage the Food Safety & Quality system.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and oversee Health & Safety policies.
- Provide safety training to employees and maintain safety-related records.
- Write and train on food safety and Health & Safety procedures.
Qualifications And Skills:
- Prior experience with BRCGS accreditation is advantageous.
- Quality experience/training and knowledge of GFSI standards.
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of Food Safety regulations.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and manufacturing environment experience.
Salary will be competitive based on experience and qualifications.
