An exciting opportunity for Teaching Assistants in the Newcastle area has became available. The role is full-time and involves working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils through intervention.


The individual best suited to the role will be dedicated to supporting pupils learning and development and will have experience working with primary aged children.

The school is based in Shiremoor and is an 'outstanding' rated Ofsted school. Staff work collaborativelyto produce and attain high standards of learning at all levels of pupil ability.

**The role: - Lead one-to-one and group interventions in Maths and Phonics (Read Write Inc)

  • Produce engaging learning materials to support pupils' development
  • Effective management of pupil behaviour
  • Support the classroom teacher
