Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
To attend work with a smiling face that makes every child feel special and loved.
To laugh at jokes that you don't understand or find funny.
You will need to have a little bit of eccentricity.
A high level of multitasking is essential.
You must be able to distribute hugs as required.
Possessing the skills required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people is of greatest importance.
You must be able to remain focused in environments with high noise levels.
Pretending to eat and drink imaginary items is required,
The ability to remember the names of many children, their parents, siblings, grandparents, pets and special soft toys is crucial
You must feel comfortable sitting on furniture that does not contain all of your behind.
A high level of comfort in answering highly personal questions by children is essential.
Your feelings must not be easily hurt.
You must be able to be as gruff as a lion and as squeaky as a mouse while reading story book.
Be able to show an interest in and curiosity for bugs and creepy crawlies is essential, even if they are your biggest fear on earth is a bonus.
You must be prepared to have a lot of fun in the workplace. Laughter is something you can expect to engage in for a large part of your working day.Must be able to work as part of a small team of adults while juggling children's wishes
The ability to be a safety hero is a must
A willingness to undertake train, keep up to date with policies and procedures is essential.
The ideal applicant:
Must have a full and relevant Level 3 in child care
Must have at least 1 year of experience in a child care setting
Have a strong understanding of the early years foundation stage welfare requirement
Have a in depth knowledge of children's child development
Have some knowledge of health and safety
