The Governing Board is looking to appoint a reliable, friendly and hardworking Teaching Assistant to join our school family.

Working under the direction of the Class Teacher, you will support the education, personal and social development of pupils in the class including those with special needs and/or bilingual needs.


  • This position is part time, term time only.
  • Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent.
  • Salary will be paid on a prorata basis.
Essential Qualifications

  • Good communication skills, ability to relate well to children and work as part of a team.
  • A calm and caring nature, firm but fair when required.
Be able to use initiative to support behavioural and learning needsDesirable Qualifications

Level 2 or equivalent qualification in - English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy

Essential Experience

  • Working with children.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
Willingness to commit to the wider life of the school community.
Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge, understanding and experience of nurture principles is desirable.
