Healthcare assistant job description:

  • Updating patients' charts and daily notes to keep track of their progress
  • Listening to patients and providing them with relevant feedback and support
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed clothes.
  • Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments.
  • Observe, monitor and record clients' physical and emotional wellbeing, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
  • Encourage clients to participate in social and recreational activities.

As a Healthcare assistant you will need to hold the following requirements:

  • At least 6 months UK experience within a care home.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide x2 UK references covering the last 1 year's employment.
  • DBS In date
  • Mandatory training
  • BOTH COVID VACCINATIONS
