Sales Administrator -Job Description

Business Switch Gas & Electric Ltd are now hiring

We are an energy consultancy that helps businesses navigate through the energy market and arrange contracts on their behalf. Assisting with energy reduction strategies, cost saving support and the ability to reduce their energy consumption.


A new operation is currently being developed and with it brings an extremely exciting opportunity for you to come on board for this journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with energy suppliers and obtaining customers energy contract information
  • Updating existing spreadsheets and ability to create new useful reports presented well using excel.
  • Arranging sales pack and working closely with the sales staff
  • Checking and processing energy contracts in support of the sales operation
  • Adherence to internal and supplier quality and assurance check
  • Updating internal systems, including CRM, communication tools, reporting and archive databases

Key Skills Required:

  • Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • The ability to multitask and be a great communicator
  • Extremely organised with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Ability to formulate and update basic spreadsheets in Excel is essential.
  • Must be able to adapt quickly to changes made internally and externally
  • Ability to work alone with mínimal supervision

Salary-up to £22,000 DOE

Experience Required-12 months working in the energy consultancy industry, is preferred but not essential.
