Senior Visualisation Production Coordinator

The Senior Visualisation Coordinator is a motivated and well organised member of the team who supports Producers and Supervisors in coordinating resources, flow of information and delivery of material on a project basis.

They work closely with the project's creative team - both internally and client facing - to ensure that tasks are briefed, recorded and reported appropriately to ensure timely delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Key daytoday client liaison
  • Ensure the production database is kept updated daily with notes and critical information
  • Take, log and distribute notes and follow up on information as needed
  • Support Producers and Supervisors to track and manage artists' workload on a project basis
  • Maintain schedule
  • Provide accurate actuals reports
  • Anticipate and communicate potential production issues to Producers
  • Organise client deliveries
  • Compile weekly reports to distribute internally
  • Arrange meetings including but not limited to dailies, Cinesync and postmortems.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanour
  • Assist Production with additional ad hoc duties as required

Essential Skills**- Confidence and experience with dynamically scheduling multiple aspects of VFX work with many moving pieces.

  • Knowledge and experience of the work undertaken in Previs and Postvis.
  • Broad experience of VFX work inc. ingest, tracking, prep, layout, animation, environments, assets and comp.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for creating and managing a successful shotgunbased schedule of work either departmentally e.g. animation or Comp or at show level (for final delivery).
  • Understanding of Visualisation or VFX generic workflows
  • Previous experience as Visualisation, Animation or VFX coordinator
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Production experience using Shotgun or similar database
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to remain calm when under pressure
  • Desire to work within very creative but fastpaced environment
  • You must be in the UK or Europe and have the right to work there for this role.
