We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Planner/Merchandiser on Footwear based in our London office.

Department Overview:
The primary purpose of this position is to initiate analysis and develop robust financial and merchandising strategy for a growing Omni
- channel retail business.

To manage & be responsible for multiple product categories, ensuring the maximising of commercial opportunities.

To manage team members, to appraise & to develop personnel.

What You'll Do:

  • To set and manage financial targets by category, across an Omni channel business.
  • To update and manage monthly OTB; presenting risks and opportunities to senior management.
  • Create reports/recaps of the business, monitoring the performance of sales, inventory, markdowns and profit by classification from a topline to store level.
  • Alongside buying counterpart, recommend buys based on thorough analysis of retail business prior to each market to achieve increased sales, profitability and sellthru %. Make assortment decisions according to regional needs.
  • Partner closely with allocation team to ensure distribution actions that support the achievement of financial plans and product strategies.
  • Manage promotional and markdown activities in a way to support achievement of sales and inventory plans.
  • To build and develop a highly motivated and results driven team.
  • Develop robust Exit strategies for old stock.

You'll Need to Have:

  • Must have strong experience in Retail Planning, Store Planning and/or allocation at a Planner or Merchandiser level


Computer Literate
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
