About this role:

To be an active member of the Merchandise Planning Team and work directly with the Head of Merchandise Planning to plan assortments that drive Pangaia's product and business strategy. The role helps manage the product creation process from design to end consumer and consults with key cross functional teams to ensure a balance of brand, commerce and environmental impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage DTC Channels, Ecommerce and Retail [Own stores and concessions]
  • Monitor and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly trade reports, providing key stakeholders with recommendations (risks/opportunities).
  • Manage and lead designated category(ies) in terms of seasonal line planning and product initiatives through the collation of accurate and reliable data to optimise sales, stock, pricing, and margin.
  • Responsible for range planning, option planning and budget planning seasonally.
  • Manage NOOS/Continuity planning, greige fabric management with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to range development, ensuring the product represents the Brand & Product Strategy as well as the key financial objectives of the business.
  • Feedback quarterly on intake margin to the executive team, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare seasonal hindsight and kick off documents.
  • Liaise daily with product merchandising, production and retail/wholesale teams on product/pricing/inventory and business analysis, providing recommendations for sales/margin opportunities
  • Support and execution of business markdown strategies.
  • Manage the inventory control, providing KPIs updates (value, turn, depreciation) to the leadership team.
  • Own in-season trade and buys to maximise opportunities and reduce risks, re-forecasting where necessary.
  • Lead and present weekly trade meetings.
  • Manage weekly retail replenishment and support with retail assortment planning.
  • Be the gatekeeper for maintaining accurate reports.
  • Support Head of Merchandise Planning to centralise the planning process and tools, ready for scale and growth objectives.
  • Assist on ad hoc projects and analysis as required.
