Loading Bay Operative

Tetrad Ltd are a well established manufacturer of beautifully hand crafted furniture based in Preston, Lancashire and have become one the UK's finest upholstery business.

We supply our furniture globally to a large client base including well known blue chip retailers alongside independent retailers.

We are looking for somebody to join our Loading Bay team, based in Preston.

  • Responsible for loading furniture onto the conveyor belts and securing the load on the lorry.
  • Achieve loading deadlines to ensure deliveries are made on time.
  • It is essential you work well with others and are a team player.
  • You will be able to highlight and report any issues to management if you notice a problem to ensure orders do not go out incorrectly.
Full training is provided along with manual handling training and safe systems of work.

This role involves heavy lifting therefore you need to be fit and able to lift following health & safety procedures.

Ideally you will have experience working in a similar manufacturing environment in distribution.

Working Hours

  • 39 hours Monday to Thursday. 6am 4pm
