The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and operational delivery of high-quality, patient-focused services, while driving forward an existing improvement agenda.

Main Responsibilities- Operational Management: Oversee the operational management of clinical services within Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care.
- Leadership and Management: Provide effective leadership and line management for all staff, identifying staffing needs and managing recruitment, training, deployment, leave, and development.
- Performance Management: Lead the delivery of performance targets in the NHS plan to improve access to and quality of patient services.
- Improvement and Innovation: Develop, test, and implement new ways of working to improve patient services, tackle staff shortages, and increase job satisfaction.
- Leadership Experience: Current leadership and management experience in a clinical service, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and improving services.
- Education and Qualifications: Degree in clinical specialty/management or equivalent experience, with a postgraduate management/leadership qualification or willingness to undertake a postgraduate certificate in management/leadership.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and external partners.
