SEMH – KS1 - Teaching Assistant

Key Information:

  • Preston Area
  • Hours: 8:45am – 15:15pm (Mon-Fri)
  • Weekly Pay
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Pay Rate: £ £12.50 per hour.
  • Term time only

The role:

The school are looking for a caring and approachable individual who will support teachers with a strong SEMH background with excellent organisational and communicational skills. The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining a positive learning environment for pupils with additional SEMH needs across KS1 classes.

  • Be able to adapt support depending on pupils needs.
  • Must be willing to support pupils Learning and Social skills.
  • Willing to intervene if a challenging situation arises.
  • Support with Phonics, Literacy and Numeracy intervention.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity of career progression within the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
