Reed is proud to be working alongside a leading organisation in recruiting for Tagging Officers to work in various WF postcodes.

There are in the WF9/10/11 area's (must be within up to 10 to 15 mile radius of either of them ,maximum)

On a day-to-day basis, you'll head off to visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment. You'll either work alone or alongside a Monitoring Support Officer.


You'll be part of a friendly, welcoming team, who'll support you as you learn and develop, as together you help to make our country a safer place.


With every individual you meet, you'll have the opportunity to build their confidence in both you and the justice system, reassuring them of their safety, as well as that of the general public.


You'll receive excellent ICT training and will be accompanied by a Training Officer on the road until you're comfortable in your role.

We are open to people from various backgrounds as long as you have the right mindset and skills.
This could be anything from Ex-Police, Social Care, Prison Workers, Military, Security etc we want to hear from you


Your ability to build relationships and rapport with anyone you meet will make all the difference, as this role is all about people.

As a tagging officer your duties will include:

  • Going out to individuals houses to install, adjust or deactivate tagging equipment where required
  • Cleaning and checking the equipment on issue and collection
  • Collecting any equipment needed for evidence
  • Keeping paperwork uptodate and following standard operational procedures
  • Taking part in meetings with your team and line manager

To be successful in this role you will ideally have the below skills/experience:

  • Full clean driving license
  • Be friendly and personable with the ability to put people at ease
  • Have resilience, patience and ability to adapt to different circumstances
  • Have an interest in getting out and about and travelling around to visit people in their own homes
  • The nature of work means that your shifts could fall on any day of the year including Christmas and B/Hs if required.
