We are currently looking for 2 additional compassionate, caring and dedicated individuals to join our team of Community Care Workers in South Molton.

As a Community Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and companionship to our clients in their own homes; following personalised care plans to meet each person's specific needs and preferences.


You'll have the flexibility to work between the hours of 7:00am and 9:30pm and will be assigned a centralised area to work within, in accordance with an agreed contracted shift pattern.

You must be able to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
  • Helping clients with mobility and transferring, as well as with eating and drinking
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assisting with medication management, as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' health or wellbeing
  • Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of client care
  • Complying with all Chapter Care policies and procedures, as well as all relevant legislation and regulations

Requirements:

  • A compassionate and caring nature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Previous experience in a carerelated role is desirable but not essential
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred
