Hours:
The full time office hours with Ar Curam are 37.5 hours. We will consider both part and full time applicants for this role.
For part time applicants, ideally there will be the potential to increase hours in line with Company expansion, as well as flexibility to meet business needs.
At Ar Curam, we provide care, support and accommodation for children and young people aged between 8-17 years old in small residential care homes where we aim to achieve excellent outcomes for the children and young people in our care.
We are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to be based at our Head Office, supporting with administration tasks to include training and recruitment administration support as well as HR administration tasks.
- Reception duties meet and greeting visitors to the office, answering of calls and dealing with as appropriate, receipt of deliveries, processing incoming and outgoing mail, ordering stationary etc.
- Room booking and meeting coordination.
- Ensuring accurate and update to date central records to include, fleet, inventory, Insurances, legal documents, fire safety and health and safety records etc.
- Ensure actions required to ensure compliance are raised to the relevant management as appropriate for example MOT's due, insurance renewals, compliance requirements etc.
- Support the delivery of training/learning and development by collating packs and paperwork as required.
- Support Human Resources with Safer Recruitment to include but not limited to arranging interviews, sending and chasing reference requests, proof to work checks and compliance, DBS checks and updates, ensuring all documentation gathered as part of the recruitment process and associated records are of expected internal and external standards.
- Support with other HR related tasks as required.
- Support with GDPR compliance and processes in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and Freedom of Information Act.
- Implementation and maintenance of efficient online filing system.
- Supporting in Ofsted inspection process as required.
- Support with tender process where required.
- Support role out of company initiatives and processes.
- General administration tasks.
Ideally you will have knowledge of HR Administration processes and experience of working in line with Safer Recruitment and the Children's Homes Regulations, to include Ofsted requirements, however this is not essential.
Knowledge and experience of dealing with data in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) and Freedom of Information Act is highly desirable.
