Night Support Worker to work at our
Hereford Care Leavers Service. We are committed to empowering Children in Care and Care Leavers on their journey to independent living.
This is an
Ofsted-regulated service and we need staff to follow high standards, ensuring the best support for our young people.
34 hours a week -
Waking night Shifts.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for young people, ensuring their safety and security throughout the night.
- Record notes on a computer system and maintain effective communication with support staff for smooth handovers.
- Keep track of individuals onsite, maintaining building cleanliness and presentation, performing minor maintenance, and engaging with young people needing support.
- Deescalate any situations posing a risk to young peoples' wellbeing, and conduct regular health and safety checks.
- Resolve situations or seek assistance from peers and emergency services, when necessary.
- Demonstrate empathy and patience towards our young people.
